Release your Anxiety!
So…how do we remain calm when the world is in chaos? As a population we are facing so many challenges. The Covid health panic has created so much loss, grief, mental and physical health problems, societal unrest, and diversity of opinion, causing conflict between friends and families. This has been immediately followed by an economic panic. Failing businesses can’t pay their employees who must be laid off. I have seen this happen to many friends and loved ones in the last few years. Zoom out a little further from the narrow focus of day to day survival and we have so many other threats to live with on a daily basis. Threats to our very existence, from climate change to the pending extinction of many species which is not only heart breaking but also has a profound negative impact on our eco systems. What do we, as individuals, with families and friends to look after, do NOW? |
WE REBUILD OUR CONFIDENCE!CONFIDENT PEOPLE ARE ABLE TO EMERGE OUT OF SURVIVAL MODE AND TAKE ACTION TOWARDS IMPROVING THEIR ENVIRONMENT IN WHATEVER CAPACITY THEY CAN. |
So how do I start to do that?I hear you ask. Before we can feel confident once again, we first need to release any anxiety and stress that have built up in the past few years. I have created a 7 day course – Release Your Anxiety In this course I teach you how to build a daily practise to firstly release anxiety and secondly keep anxiety at bay from now on. |
|
This course has been specifically designed to demystify the condition of anxiety by explaining what is physically going on when we are feeling anxious. The videos and worksheets guide you through various Motivational Coaching, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Hypnosis, Creative Visualization and Mindfulness Meditation techniques to help soothe your anxiety. By engaging in these exercises we give the body a very clear message that the immediate threat to our survival is over and the nervous system can begin to relax. In other words, we move out of Fight, Flight, Freeze (Sympathetic Nervous System response) and in to Rest and Repair (Parasympathetic Nervous System response). It really is exciting when we realise how much control we have over this with the actions we take on a regular basis. We can watch ourselves move out of freeze mode and back into action and creativity. The combination of these techniques, once learned, can be crafted into a bespoke daily healing routine of your own design which moves you into states of joyful optimism as you start to look for ways to create meaning, purpose and satisfaction in your life once again – even under difficult outside circumstances. |
How do we not to become paralysed by sadness, fear and trauma when we watch the news today?By becoming master co-creators when we decide not to allow our state of being to be affected by what we see around us. In this way we stay strong and powerful enough to actually make a difference with our positive actions thoughts and beliefs. I think the biggest thing we can do to help ourselves in any given moment and under any circumstances is to breathe deeply – and being predominantly in the Parasympathetic nervous response makes this possible. Breathing is a free quick and easy physical and psychological emergency first aid kit. After only a few breaths the biomarkers of poor health in our blood start to reduce. Our thinking becomes neutral, more expansive and solution focused. |
I am inviting you…To purchase this course and join our Facebook group in order to join like-minded people in releasing and moving beyond your anxiety into states of joyful optimism, but whether you decide to purchase the course or not, whenever you feel yourself becoming entangled by some horror that you witness STOP, place your hand on your heart and breathe until you are able to let the breath breathe you. Notice how this sends you into a neutral place of no thought and then take positive action from there. Just place your hand over your heart and breathe in and out through your hand, until your breath deepens. Do this as often as you need throughout the day. You will start to feel the breath actually taking over and breathing you, in a similar way to what happens when we yawn – the body is taking over and resetting the nervous system in honour of homeostasis. We are incredibly powerful god like beings but we have been closed off from our divinity by the ego mind. The ego mind has been instrumental to getting us to this point in our evolution, but we must move beyond it in many ways now and allow the deeper wisdom of the spirit to guide us through these turbulent times. Ancient mystics and yogis placed so much emphasis on the breath for very good reason. Breathing moves us beyond the fight/flight response of the ego body and into our deeper spiritual wisdom, where we can find balance and peace. |
